About

Rigorous, accessible health journalism that puts people first

Health information can be hard to sort through on your own, and readers deserve coverage that is trustworthy and clear. That's the standard I've held as an editor, whether I'm deciding if a study supports a headline, pushing a story for one more expert, or coaching an editor through a tough draft.

At HEALTH I led day-to-day coverage decisions, approved nearly all pitches, managed three editors (two promoted in 2026), and introduced a collaborative headline-review process that other People Inc. brands adopted. Before HEALTH, I edited daily news, reported features, and print columns at Women's Health, SELF, Dr. Oz The Good Life, and Prevention.

I'm also an NASM Certified Personal Trainer, which means fitness content (and proper form) gets an extra level of care from me.
